About Us.
Formerly an ex-servicemen's club (founded in 1946) we began operating as a social club in the late 1960's. Today we are run entirely by volunteers. We have an elected committee and all policy decisions reflect the wishes of our members. We keep our prices exceptionally low and are able to provide musical entertainment most weekends throughout the year. We are very family orientated so children are always welcome and baby changing facilities are available. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead. We have two match quality pool tables (pool is free on Wednesday and Friday evenings), three dart boards and a skittles table. We have a car park located at the rear of the day nursery which is adjacent to the social club.
